Gov. Nathan Deal and Sen. Butch Miller feel that
cultivation and the addition of new diseases that can be treated with cannabis oil could open a slippery slope to legalized recreational use of marijuana in Georgia
This unfortunately means that the battle for the legal right to marijuana based medications will likely continue on into 2017 despite the fact that other states who have expanded their medicinal marijuana laws have not had any issues with the so-called slippery slope to recreational legalization.
