The legislation is Oklahoma may soon change as lawmakers consider legalizing cbd oil for use in adults. This however is a bit odd to anyone familiar with the states recent legalization of CBD oil just last year. According to the bill that past last year CBD oil had only been legalized for use in children to treat epilepsy, something that has been illegal for adults to use since the beginning.
Adults in desperate need of CBD oil for their conditions may soon have it however the fact that it has been legal for children but not adults for well into a year now is not only concerning but shows that legalization is still in its infancy.
Dr. Yen was quoted saying
I don’t think it will hurt them, (it) won’t make them high
This shows a blatant disregard for a users health and only focuses on the fact that this form of cannabis will not get the user/patient high. It would seem that is all many of these states care about at this time.
