Flordia has finally joined the likes of South Carolina and others who have passed CBD-only medicinal marijuana laws. This is a good thing for those suffering from seizures however, these laws have provided little means for patients to obtain medicinal CBD oil.
That’s right while it’s legal to use the oil if you have a doctors prescription for the drug there is still no legal route to obtain any of the medication in these CBD-only states.
The good news here is that the law also grants $1 million dollars to be used for medical marijuana research, something we could certainly use a lot more of.
The bill also appropriates $1 million for medical research in medical uses of marijuana.
The Florida law allows use of the drug for people suffering from epilepsy, cancer and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.
