State officials may have some explaining to do as thousands of patients await access to medicinal marijuana cbd oil extracts as a treatment for severe epilepsy. Officials have reported wasted $115,000 on a mere 50 ID cards which were recently sent to patients. Making matters worse the state blames the law for the fact that these IDs had to be created however they now claim ID cards only cost $10 each.

A representative of Iowans 4 Medical Marijuana has said that both her and her daughter have their medical ID cards and while it gives them peace of mind (I don’t know how) they’ve never been able to use them. This is because it is still illegal to produce and distribute cbd oil or have it shipped in from other producers. This leaves us with yet another state forcing patients to use the black market to obtain their medication. This time however we’ve managed to throw $115,000 in the toilet as well.
