Fighting Cancer is a tough battle that nobody wants to face, consider how much harder this must be to deal with when you are only a child.
The Father illegally gave their son marijuana extract also known as CBD oil (now facing charges) and it seems it made the Cancer treatment bearable.
“I thought maybe it would help his nausea,” said Dwyer. “But within an hour he had stopped crying. Within four hours, he was crawling, even laughing… He didn’t puke once after we started giving it to him.”
The Father commented on the recently passed bill to legalize medicinal marijuana in his home town and he’s not satisfied. The law signed in PA is a little too restrictive and there simply is no way that everyone who needs help can get it.
“You can’t put a number on who has access to it and who doesn’t,” Dwyer said. “I’ve seen the effects of how this medicine changes people’s lives.”
